En fase 3, randomisert, dobbeltblind studie av adjuvans Nivolumab versus placebo for deltakere med hepatocellulært karsinom som har høy risiko for tilbakefall etter kurativ leverreseksjon eller -ablasjon

Denne studien vil undersøke om nivolumab vil forbedre residivfri overlevelse (RFS) sammenlignet med placebo hos deltakere med HCC som har gjennomgått fullstendig reseksjon eller har oppnådd fullstendig respons etter lokal ablasjon, og som har høy risiko for residiv.

Inklusjonskriterier:

  • Deltakere med første diagnose HCC som har gjennomgått en kurativ reseksjon eller ablasjon
  • Deltakere er kvalifisert til å melde seg på hvis de har ikke-viralt relatert-HCC, eller hvis de har HBV-HCC, eller HCV-HCC
  • Child-Pugh score 5 eller 6
  • Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) ytelsesstatus (PS) 0 eller 1

Ekskluderingskriterier:

  • Kjent fibrolamellær HCC, sarcomatoid HCC eller blandet kolangiokarsinom og HCC
  • Eventuelle tegn på tumormetastaser eller sameksisterende ondartet sykdom
  • Deltakere som tidligere har mottatt noen tidligere terapi for HCC, inkludert lokoregionale terapier
  • Deltakere som har gjennomgått en levertransplantasjon eller de som står på venteliste for levertransplantasjon
  • Deltakere som har mottatt en levende/svekket vaksine innen 30 dager etter randomisering (f.eks. varicella, zoster, gul feber, rotavirus, oral polio og meslinger, kusma, røde hunder [MMR]).
