Denne undersøgelse vil undersøge, om nivolumab vil forbedre recidivfri overlevelse (RFS) sammenlignet med placebo hos deltagere med HCC, som har gennemgået fuldstændig resektion eller har opnået et fuldstændigt respons efter lokal ablation, og som har høj risiko for recidiv

Inklusionskriterier:

  • Deltagere med en første diagnose af HCC, som har gennemgået en kurativ resektion eller ablation
  • Deltagere er berettiget til at tilmelde sig, hvis de har ikke-viralt relateret-HCC, eller hvis de har HBV-HCC eller HCV-HCC
  • Child-Pugh score 5 eller 6
  • Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) præstationsstatus (PS) 0 eller 1

Ekskluderingskriterier:

  • Kendt fibrolamellær HCC, sarcomatoid HCC eller blandet kolangiocarcinom og HCC
  • Ethvert tegn på tumormetastaser eller co-eksisterende malign sygdom
  • Deltagere, der tidligere har modtaget nogen tidligere terapi for HCC, herunder loko-regionale terapier
  • Deltagere, der har gennemgået en levertransplantation eller dem, der er på venteliste til levertransplantation
  • Deltagere, der har modtaget en levende/svækket vaccine inden for 30 dage efter randomisering (f.eks. skoldkopper, zoster, gul feber, rotavirus, oral polio og mæslinger, fåresyge, røde hunde [MMR]).
