Analise as mudanças na frequência respiratória ao usar o respirador de susto (RESPSUS)
Estudo piloto do uso do respirador assustador: efeito na sincronicidade, frequência respiratória, frequência cardíaca, saturação de oxigênio, escala de dor neonatal-infantil (NIPS) e ciclo sono-vigília na eletroencefalografia de amplitude (aEEG)

Com este estudo piloto os investigadores pretendem perceber se o "respirador de susto" pode modificar os sinais vitais do recém-nascido (RN) e se existe uma relação consoante a frequência por minuto dada pelo respirador de susto e a frequência respiratória do paciente.
O "respirador de susto" tem sido usado muitas vezes para prevenir a apnéia central no recém-nascido. Isso envolve o uso de um ventilador mecânico, mas em vez de conectá-lo à traqueia do paciente para inflar seus pulmões, o fluxo de ar é conectado a uma luva cirúrgica que infla e desinfla, com a frequência respiratória ideal que o paciente deve ter. Este será colocado nas costas para estimulá-lo taticamente dando o impulso de inspiração necessário para que o paciente sozinho consiga adquirir o movimento.
A importância do desenvolvimento deste estudo é que foi visto que o "respirador de susto" poderia evitar apneias centrais, mas não foram feitos estudos sobre a alteração da frequência respiratória que ocorre com o aparelho ou se incomoda o RN ou altera seu padrão de sono acordado.
Pretende-se avaliar 10 prematuros, durante 3 períodos de observação. Serão avaliados frequência cardíaca (FC), frequência respiratória (FR) e saturação, escala de dor e padrão sono-vigília aEEG; primeiro um período de descanso entre as mamadas como linha de base, depois com um respirador de susto a 20 ciclos por minuto e finalmente a 40 ciclos por minuto. As diferenças de variáveis qualitativas e quantitativas serão avaliadas com testes estatísticos ad-hoc.

Critério de inclusão:
- bebês prematuros saudáveis hospitalizados,
- pesando mais de 1500g no momento do estudo
Critério de exclusão:
- bebês recebendo qualquer suporte respiratório
- portador de qualquer malformação maior ou condição genética
