다발성 경화증에서 표적 발레 프로그램에 의한 뇌 변화 탐색
다발성 경화증(MS)은 미국에서 대략 900,000명의 사람들에게 영향을 미치는 중추신경계(CNS)의 자가면역 질환으로 자주 이동 장애를 초래합니다. 다발성경화증 환자의 대다수는 이동성 장애가 질병과 함께 생활하는 데 가장 어려운 측면이라고 표현합니다. 운동 실조증은 MS 환자의 약 80%가 경험하는 이동 장애의 한 측면입니다. 미국에서 다발성 경화증 환자에게 90억 달러의 약물 비용이 들었음에도 불구하고 2012년 한 해에만 MS에 대한 표준 약물 치료는 이동성을 회복하고 운동 실조증을 줄이는 데 효과가 없었습니다. PI는 파일럿 연구에서 다발성 경화증 환자의 운동 실조증을 완화하고 균형을 개선하는 복잡한 동작의 운동 학습이 필요한 표적 발레 프로그램을 설계했습니다. 얻은 개선은 다른 신체 재활 개입에 의해 보고된 것보다 약 5배 더 컸습니다. 그러나 이러한 변화를 이해하려면 대상 발레 프로그램에 참여한 후 뇌에 근본적인 변화가 있는지 여부를 확인해야 합니다.

상세 설명
다발성 경화증(MS)은 뇌 탈수초화 및 축삭 손실로 인해 이동성 장애가 발생하는 자가면역 매개 질환으로, MS 환자의 약 75%에 영향을 미치며 MS와 함께 생활하는 데 가장 어려운 측면으로 보고됩니다. 미국에서 약 900,000명의 사람들이 알려진 치료법이 없는 다발성경화증으로 고통받고 있습니다. 2012년 한 해에만 미국에서 다발성경화증 환자의 약값은 90억 달러였습니다. 높은 비용에도 불구하고 약리학 적 개입은 수초화를 유도하지 않으므로 운동 장애가 지속됩니다. - NIH와 세계 신경과 연맹의 운동실조 신경약리위원회에서 권장하는 ICARS(International Cooperative Ataxia Rating Scale)에서 7점 이상으로 결정된 운동실조의 존재
- 보행 장애를 나타내는 Neurostatus 인증 검사관의 검사를 기반으로 한 확장 장애 상태 척도(EDSS) 점수 1.0-6.5
- 지난 30일 동안 재발 없음
- 운동 훈련 승인.

- SDMT(Symbol Digit Modalities Test) 23점 미만 또는 몬트리올 인지 평가(MoCA) 22점 미만의 심각한 인지 장애 존재
- 영어로 제시된 실험 지침을 이해하지 못함

실험적: 대상 발레 프로그램
다발성 경화증이 있는 사람의 운동 기능을 개선하기 위한 16주(각각 1시간씩 32회) 발레 기반 개입.

모든 수업은 모든 참가자에게 편리한 정해진 일정에 따라 제공됩니다.
수업은 광범위한 댄스 교육 전문 지식을 갖춘 PI가 진행합니다.
대상 발레 프로그램은 초기에 의자에 앉아 춤 동작(20분), 건강 및 장애에 대한 무용의 신경과학 연구실 벽에 설치된 발레 바를 잡고 운동(20분), 기관차 춤으로 구성됩니다. 이동(20분).
댄스 동작은 Royal Academy of Dancing 및 Cecchetti Council of America의 Ballet I Syllabus를 기반으로 하며, 이전에 발레 교육이 필요하지 않은 8세 학생을 위해 고안되었습니다.
