Einschlusskriterien:

  • Hospitalisiert mit Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)-Infektion.
  • Männliche oder weibliche Teilnehmer im Alter von 1 bis <18 Jahren.
  • Benötigt zusätzlichen Sauerstoff und Befunde einer Thoraxbildgebung, um eine Atemwegserkrankung aufgrund von COVID-19 innerhalb von 72 Stunden nach Studieneintritt und -registrierung zu bestätigen.
  • Zusätzlicher Sauerstoff, einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf: Nasenkanüle, Maske, High-Flow-Geräte, CPAP/BiPAP, invasive mechanische Beatmung sowie ECMO.

Ausschlusskriterien:

  • Biologische Behandlungen erhalten (z. B. Tumornekrosefaktor [TNF]-Hemmer, Interleukin-Hemmer, gezielte T-Zell- oder B-Zell-Therapien, Interferon oder Januskinase (JAK)-Hemmer); oder andere Immunsuppressiva erhalten, so dass nach Meinung des Prüfarztes die Teilnahme an der Studie den Teilnehmer einem unannehmbaren Risiko einer Immunsuppression aussetzen würde.

Hinweis: Vor dem Screening ist eine Auswaschphase erforderlich.

  • Erhalten Sie starke Inhibitoren des Organic Anion Transporter 3 (OAT3) (wie Probenecid), die bei Studieneintritt nicht abgesetzt werden können.
  • Haben Sie die Diagnose einer aktuellen aktiven Tuberkulose (TB) oder, falls bekannt, einer latenten TB, die weniger als 4 Wochen lang mit einer geeigneten Anti-Tuberkulose-Therapie gemäß den lokalen Richtlinien behandelt wurde (nur durch Anamnese, keine Screening-Tests erforderlich).

  • Erfordern eine invasive mechanische Beatmung, einschließlich extrakorporaler Membranoxygenierung (ECMO) bei Studieneintritt.

Anonymisierte Daten auf individueller Patientenebene werden nach Genehmigung eines Forschungsvorschlags und einer unterzeichneten Vereinbarung zur gemeinsamen Nutzung von Daten in einer sicheren Zugangsumgebung bereitgestellt.

IPD-Sharing-Zeitrahmen

Die Daten sind 6 Monate nach der Erstveröffentlichung und Zulassung der untersuchten Indikation in den USA und der EU verfügbar, je nachdem, was später eintritt. Die Daten stehen unbegrenzt zur Abfrage zur Verfügung.

IPD-Sharing-Zugriffskriterien

Ein Forschungsvorschlag muss von einem unabhängigen Gutachtergremium genehmigt werden und die Forscher müssen eine Vereinbarung zur gemeinsamen Nutzung von Daten unterzeichnen.
