Pilot van een aanpassing van cognitieve gedragstherapie voor slapeloosheid voor ploegenarbeiders (CBTI-Shift)
Het doel van de voorgestelde studie is het testen van twee gedragsmatige slaapinterventiestrategieën voor het verbeteren van slapeloosheid bij verpleegkundigen die in nachtdienst werken.

Verpleegkundigen in de nachtdienst met slapeloosheid die aan alle studiecriteria voldoen, krijgen één van de twee slapeloosheidstherapieën.
De specifieke therapie voor slapeloosheid zal bij toeval worden bepaald (als een muntstuk), met een gelijke kans om ofwel cognitieve gedragstherapie voor slapeloosheid ofwel multicomponent-ontspanningstherapie voor slapeloosheid te krijgen, beide aangepast voor ploegenarbeiders.
Beide therapieën zullen via telehealth worden uitgevoerd door interventionisten die zijn opgeleid in gedragsmatige slaapgeneeskunde.

Deelname Criteria

Inclusiecriteria:
- Huidige verpleegster in ploegendienst in Oregon
- Verwacht tijdens de studie in ploegendienst te blijven werken
- Voldoet aan de criteria voor een slapeloosheidsstoornis
- Verhoogde symptomen van slapeloosheid
- Dagelijks toegang hebben tot internet op een smartphone, tablet of computer; En
- Kan Engels lezen en schrijven
Uitsluitingscriteria:
- Mensen met ongecontroleerde medische aandoeningen
- Aanwezigheid van een veiligheidsrisico of een aandoening waarbij deelname aan het onderzoek niet effectief kan zijn of kan leiden tot een verhoogd risico voor de veiligheid
- Enkele huidige behandelingen voor slapeloosheid
- Vast dag-, avond- of roulerend ploegenrooster
- Geschiedenis van toevallen of manische episode; of
- Huidige/verwachte zwangerschap tijdens de studieperiode
