Ez a tanulmány egy 4 karból álló Bayes-féle, adaptív próbatervet követ. Amint a betegek felvételre kerülnek, véletlenszerűen besorolják őket a négy kar egyikébe.
A vizsgálatot egy közös struktúrában végzik el, hogy lehetővé tegyék a hatékony felvételt és elemzést. Az átfogó struktúra az m-egészségügyi és pszichoszociális adherenciát támogató beavatkozások 4 karból álló, adaptív platformja, amely a differenciált szolgáltatásnyújtás (DSD) megközelítésén alapul.
Az 1. cél az m-egészségügyi és a pszichoszociális adherenciát támogató beavatkozások adaptív vizsgálata Bayes-féle adaptív tervezéssel, amely lehetővé teszi a beavatkozás elemeinek külön-külön és kombinált összehasonlítását. Az 1. cél résztvevőit a 4 kar egyikébe randomizálják, és havonta követik a beavatkozás 6 hónapja alatt, majd a kezelés végéig telefonon, egy további személyes látogatással, hogy megállapítsák az elsődleges eredményt. Az elsődleges eredmény egy kombinált klinikai/biológiai eredmény 12 hónapos korban, az alábbiakban leírtak szerint. Az 1a hipotézis az összes résztvevőt, míg az 1b hipotézis csak az mHealth intervenciós karok (3+4) résztvevőit használja, mivel granulált EDM-mérés szükséges.

Bevételi kritériumok:
- A tenyészet vagy a molekuláris teszt pozitív MTB-re
- Molekuláris teszt pozitív HIV-re vagy dokumentált HIV-pozitív anamnézis
- A gyógyszerérzékenység molekuláris vizsgálata (pl. GeneXpert MTB/RIF) vagy legalább rifampicin-rezisztens TB-nek megfelelő hagyományos vizsgálat,
- A kezelés megkezdése bedaquilin-tartalmú TB-kezeléssel a beiratkozást követő 4 héten belül, és az első BDQ-kezelés
- Antiretrovirális terápiás (ART) kezelés során, beleértve a dolutegravirt tartalmazó kombinált antiretrovirális terápiát (pl. Tenofovir-Lamivudine-Dolutergravir), vagy a beiratkozást követő 4 héten belül kezdődik,
- A tájékozott beleegyezés lehetősége isiZulu vagy angol nyelven
