Beskrivelse
Inklusjonskriterier:
- voksne i alderen 18-65 år
- klinisk diagnose av type 1 diabetes minimum ett år
- rapportert vanemessig søvnvariasjon (1 time/uke eller mer) eller søvnvarighet mindre enn 6,5 timer/natt på arbeids- eller ukedager (bekreftet med actigraphy sleep watch)
- et ønske om å forbedre søvnen
- eie en smarttelefon
Ekskluderingskriterier:
- søvnløshet symptomer
- med høy risiko for obstruktiv søvnapné
- alvorlig hypoglykemi episode de siste 6 månedene (f.eks. tap av bevissthet)
- A1C større enn 10 %
- roterende skift eller nattskiftarbeid
- bruk av sovemedisiner/hjelpemidler
- nedsatt nyrefunksjon (estimert glomerulær filtrasjonshastighet < 45 ml/min)
- betydelige aktuelle medisinske sykeligheter (som hjertesvikt, skrumplever, kronisk obstruktiv lungesykdom som krever oksygen, aktiv behandling for kreft, depresjon, historie med hjerneslag med nevrologiske mangler
- amming, gravid eller planlegger graviditet
